The last competition of the winter competition (4 races) was held in Haaksbergen on 22 February 2025. Taking part in this competition were Lynley Benneker with Stapleford Joint Venture and Gerard Horst with Stapleford Shake A Leg.
Lynley drove Joint Venture in 2 very creditable dressage tests, which were judged with 191.5 and 193.5 points respectively. This resulted in 2 dressage wins and a 2nd place in the day's ranking in both tests.
Gerard's dressage tests with Shake A went less well and were judged with 150 and 178 points respectively.
The cones tests were completed within time by Lynley with Joint Venture, but 3 balls were thrown off in the first test and 1 ball in the 2nd test. The latter did result in a win.
Gerard with Shake A Leg also completed both cones tests within the time set. In the first test, however, 2 balls were thrown off. The second test was clear, as well as the drive-off. This test thus earned 2 profit points. And 2nd place in the day's ranking.
The standings of the winter competition are made up based on the 4 highest tests driven in at least 3 of the 4 races in the winter competition.
With an average score of 193 points, Lynley Benneker with Stapleford Joint Venture took the 2nd prize in the dressage of the winter competition.
Scoring an average of 0.5 penalty points in the cones tests, Gerard Horst with Stapleford Shake A Leg took 1st prize in the winter competition. Scoring an average of 3.33 penalty points, Lynley took the 3rd prize in the cones tests of the winter competition.
As this was Lynley's first participation in driving competitions a fine score !
