Driving sport is an expensive business, especially if you want to compete at the national and/or international level. The cost of driving goes considerably beyond buying a horse/pony and a cart. A horse/pony must be trained and have extra feed to do so, you need several carriages (presentation carriage, marathon carriage, training carriage), harnesses, transportation to get to and from competitions, maintenance of all the gear, lodging costs of the driving team, memberships and entry fees etc. etc.
In short, it requires a yearly investment to keep driving.

To perform at the desired level and achieve our goals, "Friends of the driving team De Heemhoeve" are very welcome. The form of support can be diverse and range from a financial contribution to in materials or services.
Of course, the "Friends of driving team De Heemhoeve" can expect something in return for their contribution. Through this website the friends will be kept informed about our activities and results, our competition schedule can be followed, we will keep you informed periodically through a newsletter and we will organize an annual "Friends Day".
