Good and fast scores in Haaksbergen
-
21 April 2025
On April 21, Lynley Benneker participated with the Hackneys Stapleford Joint Venture and Stapleford Shake A Leg in the dressage and skills competition in Haaksbergen.
The relocated dressage tracks were in good shape (although there was a little puddle of water here and there) and the ponies (and Lynley) were fresh and in the mood! The ponies so much so that in terms of pace it was ‘keep and turn’, especially in the first test. So on the ratings of respectively 175.5 and 179 points were nothing to worry about. In the 2nd test it was more controlled and a score of resp. 197 and 192.5 points was achieved, giving 2x a profit point.
The cones tests went very well. In the first test, with Joint Venture, a ball was dropped, but the other three cones tests were clear and well within the time set. So in the sones test, we won 1 x one and 3 x two profit points. The three drive offs also went very well in super-fast times. Unfortunately, in the dive offs, 1x two and 2x one ball were thrown off. Drive offs were a new challenge for Lynley and with 3 of them right away, she gained enough experience with them.
