Stapleford Shake A Leg heavily tested
26 February 2024
On February 24, Gerard Horst participated with the Hackney Stapleford Shake A Leg in the third competition of the winter competition in Haaksbergen. After an intervention in the sand track, on which the cones test are run, it was in good shape. The dressage tracks were in a lesser condition due to the large amount of rainfall in recent weeks, especially after almost all combinations had already completed their dressage tests. And a para-driver must also ride with a groom on the carriage ! At the end, the dressage tests were judged with 179.5 (just short of a victory point) and 170.5 points respectively.
In the cones tests it went a little better. The first test was clear, but with a considerable time penalty (so no victory points), the second test was within time, but unfortunately one ball was thrown off. So still one profit point.
