District championships in Hengelo (Gld)On 27 July, the district championships dressage and skill were held in Hengelo (Gld).
Senne Boom took part with Stapleford Joint Ventgure and her Shetlander Bella.
In the first dressage test, Joint Venture was a bit boisterous, which resulted in both judges scoring 179.5 and 185 points respectively. The second test, in a different ring went much better, however, the difference between the two judges' ratings. Thus, they were placed 1st by one judge with 199 points and 10th by the other judge with 171.5 points (out of 13 combinations). Yet both judges saw the same trial.
In the cones test with Joint Venture, 3 balls were thrown off and the time limit was exceeded, totalling 16.75 penalty points.
The dressage tests with Bella did not go as well. The first test was judged with 174 and 180.5 points respectively, the second test with 167.5 and 160 points respectively. But as said, it did not go as usual.
The cones test with Bella did go clear, but unfortunately (and very unusually for Bella) with a time overrun and 5.6 penalty points.
